South Korea's stock market opened higher Wednesday, as investors took a cue from overnight gains in U.S. equity markets. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 14.19 points, or 0.73 percent, to 1,955.44 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
