Tokyo stocks

Tokyo shares ended the morning session higher Tuesday on bargain-hunting after declines in last week.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average jumped 146.41 points, or 0. 96 percent, from Friday to end at 15,362.12.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 9.82 points, or 0.78 percent, at 1,273. 11.
Japanese financial markets closed Monday for a national holiday.
Gainers were led by nonferrous metal, glass and ceramics shares as well as construction.
