Tokyo stocks bounced back Wednesday morning after two days of losses, with sentiment lifted by overnight gains on Wall Street. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average went up 81.77 points, or 0.57 percent, from Tuesday to 14,470.54, according to Japan’s (Kyodo) News Agency. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 5.74 points, or 0.49 percent, at 1,168.24. Gainers were led by rubber, information and communication, and paper and pulp shares.
