The board of AIG will not join a private lawsuit against the US government led by former AIG chief executive Maurice \"Hank\" Greenberg, the government bailed-out insurer said Wednesday. The AIG statement said the board determined that a decision not to join the lawsuit met its \"fiduciary and legal obligations\" to AIG and its shareholders.
