The Ministry of Social Development is slated to inaugurate the two-day (Made-in-my-home) fair tomorrow (i.e.: Monday Feb. 25, 2013) under the kind auspices of Her Highness Shaikha Thajiba bint Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and in the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Social Development, the private sector, the media and diplomatic corps. On this occasion, the Minister of Social Development, Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al-Beloushi, emphasized that the (made-in-my-home) show which the Ministry has always been keen to implement each and every year is considered one of the most important instruments used in marketing and promoting products of Bahraini productive families both inside the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad. The productive families' fair showcases domestic creativity and provides an opportunity to showcase handmade Bahraini crafts and to develop their potentials and boost family productivity. Minister Dr. Fatima Al-Beloushi urged all Bahraini families and concerned sides to view the experience of Bahraini families which reflect both their creativity and perfection during the fair which continues for two days at the Gulf Hotel. The productive families fair themed (made-in-my-home) provides job opportunities to productive family members and helps brush up their professional skills. The fair encourages home-based productive families to expand the base of their clientele thanks to the support from the Ministry of Social Developments and creates new outlets to market their creative products.
