Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received here today the US Ambassador to Bahrain Thomas Krajeski. During the meeting, the Minister reviewed with Ambassador Krajeski the outstanding Bahraini-US ties, ways of bolstering joint cooperation regarding, particularly, the human resources so as to take advantage of successful experiences and exchange expertise in the labour fields, including rehabilitation of national cadres and facilitating their integration into the labour market, activation of dialogue and community partnership and consolidation of trade union activities. He also updated the US envoy on the kingdom's efforts to reform the labour market and commitment to developing its labour laws and regulations in accordance with regional and international labour conventions in order to achieve sustainable development.
