His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa gave directives to allocate a temporary park accommodating 350 trucks near King Fahd Causeway. Customs Affairs President Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa announced the measure as he met King Fahd Causeway General Organisation Assistant General Director for Projects Emad Al-Muhaisan. Coordination is being carried out with the Road Section at the Works Ministry to decide the entrances and exits of the plot that will be for empty and loaded trucks. The plot will be provided with services and public utilities. Customs Affairs President Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa thanked HRH Prime Minister for his directives to ease up truck congestion at the causeway, until finding the ultimate solution. He also extended thanks to Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa for his efforts to find solution to the issues. The meeting was also attended by Undersecretary of Municipalities and Urban Planning, Customs Affairs Officials, General Director of Northern Municipality, General Director of Exists, Director of King Fahd Causeway Police and Director Traffic Operations at the General Directorate of Traffic.
