The Conference on the Economic Development in the Governorate of the A\'Dhahirah will kick-off at Crowne Plaza Muscat Hotel this Monday under the patronage of Sultan bin Salim al-Habsi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Planning in the presence of a number of ministers, undersecretaries, officials, businessmen and women.   The two-day conference will be organized by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), A\'Dhahirah Branch.   The conference will highlight the economic potentials of the Governorate of the A\'Dhahirah and the obstacles impeding the economic growth, as well as the projects and infrastructure needed by the governorate. During the three sessions that will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Suaiyed al-Kalbani, Minister of Social Development, the conference will discuss three themes relating to the infrastructure, tourism and real estate investment plans in the governorate, as well as scope of oil, gas and mining sector and their impact on the development of the governorate.   Ali bin Saleh al-Kalbani, OCCI Member, Head of OCCI Branch in A\'Dhahirah said that a study has been conducted on the obstacles facing the economy in the governorate, in addition to the economic potentials and the most important investment opportunities in the governorate.
