The Minister of Investment and special envoy of the President of the Republic, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, announced that Nigeria has agreed to take part in Doha Donors\' Conference for Rehabilitation and Development in Darfur. This came at the end of his two-day visit to Nigeria during which he handed over an invitation to Nigeria to take part in Donors Conference for Darfur in Doha. Dr. Ismail and the accompanying delegation held a number of meetings with Nigerian officials in Abuja who included the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the State Minister at the Ministry of Trade and Investment as well as a group of Nigerian businessmen and senior officials. Dr. Ismail described Nigeria as one of the important African countries, appreciating the serious steps being made by Sudan mission to Nigeria, headed by Ambassador Dr. Tajal-Sir Mustafa, for pushing ahead the bilateral relations between the two countries at all levels. Dr. Ismail and the accompanying delegation left the Nigerian capital, Abuja, to Libya in order to hold similar talks with Libyan officials on coordination and cooperation.
