The price of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) chips has jumped more than 18 percent since the second half of February amid forecasts of a squeezed supply, data showed Monday. The fixed price of DDR3 2Gb 256Mx8 1333MHz chips came to US$1.28 in the first half of March, up from $1.08 in the second half of last month, according to the data by market researcher DRAMeXchange.
