The number of food shipments coming to Dubai through Dubai ports during the first half of the current year amounted to 142,010 shipments, and the applications for the food label during the same period were 5128 requests. The companies registered and trained to use the electronic system of import and export (FIRS) reached to 649 companies, and the samples collected for laboratory analysis from imported consignments reached to 9,961. DM has issued during the same period nearly 34,049 export health certificate for food shipments exported to the Gulf countries and the world.
