The government companies and bodies\'s debts payable for the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company reached EGP 15 billion, says company chairman. \"The electricity companies are suffering from lack of financial resources to perform their duties in providing electricity power necessary for all purposes,\" Gaber Desouky said in a statement on Sunday. Such suffering was prompted by the failure of business sector companies, a number of government bodies and local authorities to pay their electricity bills, he added.
