Eurozone inflation is coming down at a quicker pace, the EU said on Thursday with a first estimate for May showing annual price rises easing to 2.4 percent. The data released by the European Union\'s Eurostat agency meant a 18th month running in which the rate exceeded the European Central Bank\'s core target of below 2.0 percent. The inflation rate for April had been 2.6 percent and March 2.7 percent.
