Consul General Abdul Salik Khan yesterday called on Chairman Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) Talal Abdul Wahab Mirza and renewed the invitation of Pakistan\'s Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FCCI) to visit Pakistan, which he reciprocated. The FCCI chairman during his recent visit to Saudi Arabia had extended the invitation to Mirza. Khan and Mirza discussed proposals for deepening economic and trade relations between the two brotherly countries. Khan also mentioned that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah\'s decision to hold the OIC Extraordinary Summit in Makkah recently for discussing issues of concern to the Muslim Ummah was timely. \"It is indeed a most commendable step and the emergency summit not only identified most critical issues facing the Ummah but also suggested practical ways to address them,\" he added. Saudi businessmen look forward to meeting their Pakistani counterparts, Mirza said, hoping that both the business communities would benefit from the Kingdom\'s ongoing economic boom. He assured his fullest support to Pakistani businessmen. The consul general also extended an invitation to Mirza to an Islamic art, miniature and calligraphy exhibition being organized by the consulate on Sept. 18-19 in Jeddah. From : Arabnews
