The yield on 10-year German bonds hit a new record low level on Tuesday with investors seeking refuge in the safe-haven asset as problems for Spanish banks and economy mounted further. A 1200 GMT the rate of return for investors on 10-year German bonds on the secondary market fell to 1.345 percent from 1.363 percent at Monday\'s close of trading.
