South Korea’s exports and imports fell in February from a year earlier but the trade balance showed a surplus for the 13th straight month, the Government data showed Friday. The country’s exports came to US$43.32 billion in February, down 8.6% from a year earlier, with imports narrowing by 10.7% on-year to US $40.26 billion, according to the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, according to the Yonhap news agency. February saw fewer days for clearing shipments through customs because of the Lunar New Year holidays, which fell in January last year.
