South Korean President Lee Myung-bak is scheduled to hold a debate this weekend with Cabinet members and top economic officials on ways to overcome the economic crisis, an official said Wednesday.
The debate at the presidential office Cheong Wa Dae on Saturday will be attended by Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik and other ministers, as well as the chiefs of the Financial Services Commission, the Fair Trade Commission and the Bank of Korea, among others, the presidential official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
