The Palestinian Authority on Tuesday approved a tax rise on products imported from China, effective from April 15. In its weekly meeting in Ramallah, the PA cabinet decided to impose 35 percent tax increase on all Chinese imports to encourage customers to buy local produce and to increase competition, a cabinet statement said.
