Pakistan and Egypt vowed to bolster bilateral trade and economic cooperation. According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Egyptian Vice President Mahmoud Mekki agreed on the frequent exchange of business delegations to explore new avenues for investment in various fields to the mutual benefit of the two countries. The two sides met on the sidelines of the D-8 Summit in Islamabad on Thursday, The Nation newspaper reported. During the meeting, Zardari also expressed his country\'s support for the unity and sovereignty of Syria.
