The Rafah crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt and the Karm Abu Salem commercial crossing were partially reopened on Wednesday. Palestinian border official Raed Fattouh said that The Karm Abu Salem crossing starts operating on Wednesday to allow the entry of humanitarian aid, domestic-use gas and some commercial merchandise. Both crossing terminals had been closed during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
