South Korean Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan met with his Myanmar counterpart Wunna Maung Lwin Friday over expanding bilateral cooperation. The two noted improving bilateral ties as evidenced by increasing high-level  exchanges, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in areas including trade, investment, resources, infrastructure and development, according to South Korean Foreign Ministry. Wunna Maung Lwin\'s four-day Seoul visit, the first such trip by a top Myanmar diplomat since 1999, came as the Southeast Asian country goes through \"positive changes,\"the ministry said in a press release. As a series of political reforms in Myanmar under President Thein Sein signal the end of Myanmar\'s isolation, South Korean President Lee Myung-bak and the foreign minister visited the country earlier this year. The two countries formally established their diplomatic relations in 1975.
