States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological Weapons and on Their Destruction, which usually referred to as Biological Weapons Convention (BWC), held a meeting here today. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated in the opening ceremony of the meeting by a delegation headed by Saudi Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations in Geneva Dr. Abdul Wahab Attar. The Kingdom was one of the first countries that have signed and ratified this Convention, and established a specialized national body to implement its terms and abide by them.
