The Spanish trade deficit fell by a sharp 29.4 percent in March from the figure 12 months ago, providing a glimmer of hope for the recession hit eurozone country, official data showed on Friday. The deficit fell to 3.245 billion euros ($4.1 billion), economy ministry figures showed, as exports climbed by 1.2 percent and imports fell by 4.6 percent, a sign the economy was benefiting more from international trade.
