Sudan\'s meat exports came to a standstill after localities levied excessive duties on slaughtered livestock,Secretary General of the Chamber of Meat, Livestock and Slaughterhouses Khalid al-Magbool said. He described the move as \"unfortunate\", saying it will adversely affect the country\'s economic plan that seeks to encourage exports. He also predicted that the price of meat at local market will beaffected. Sudan\'s livestock exports contribute 20\\% to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
