Industrial production index in Turkey in March this year was up 2.4 percent over the same period a year earlier, the country's statistics authority said Tuesday. TurkStat said in the sub sectors level of industry; mining sector increased 4.3 percent, manufacturing sector index increased 1.6 percent, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased 7.9 percent.
