Kiev - MENA
Ukraine has ruled out taking any money from the International Monetary Fund next year, Euronews reported on Saturday. In an end of year interview, Ukraines Prime Minister Mykola Azarov criticised the IMFs debt crisis measures as being ineffective in several European countries, and said they have even led to stagnation. But he stressed that he is ready to find a compromise with the organisation which has urged Ukraine to raise household gas prices. The IMF mission planned to visit Kiev this month to discuss the agreement on a standby loan but the visit has now been postponed till mid January.
