Yemeni government has announced that the Donors' Conference, which was scheduled to be held on Wednesday, has been delayed to next September. A Yemeni government official said that the government has prepared a document to be submitted to the conference, seeking international aids to help the country's economy from collapse after years of violent unrest. He pointed out that it was agreed to hold the donor conference to support Yemen in early September in Riyadh under the auspices of Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. The draft phased program for stability and development (2012-2014), approved by the Yemeni Cabinet on Tuesday and will be presented at the donor conference in Riyadh, is a development plan for the transitional period to restore the economic, security and political stability. The draft program consists of four components; the humanitarian, social and economic conditions in 2011, the immediate priorities and necessary measures, the mid-term economic recovery program and the investment programs and implementation mechanisms.
