The yield on Spanish 10-year bonds rose slightly to about 5.8 percent on Tuesday, but did not move above 6.0 percent as erroneously reported by data provider Bloomberg. At 0628 GMT the yield on 10-year Spanish government bonds had been seen to rise to 6.095 percent on the secondary market, compared to 5.714 percent at Monday\'s close. But Bloomberg said in a statement the rate was mistakenly for the 12-year bond rate and not the benchmark 10-year rate as reported. The 10-year yield has been below 6.0% percent, a threshold level considered by many economists to be unsustainable in the long term, since September 28. At around 1200 GMT, the Spanish benchmark yield was at 5.755 percent.
