'The draft constitution protects the Islamic identity of the Egyptian state,' according to Borhami. He denied rumors saying that the new constitution equalized men and women in inheritance, in violation to the Islamic Sharia that allots women half of the share given to men. These reports are false and unfounded, he has said. The conference was attended by Nader Bakkar, the media adviser of Nour Party.
