Iraqi PM Says Turkey Not Respecting Agreement to Withdraw Troops - Newsweek Middle East

There are diplomatic contacts between Iraq and Turkey in order to find a solution to the crisis related to the entry of Turkish military forces to the Bashiqa camp in northern Iraq, said Iraq's government spokesman Saad al Hadithi.

"The solution to the crisis with Turkey should abide by international law and respect Iraq's sovereignty," he added. 

In statements Sunday, al Hadithi renewed the stance of the Iraqi government which rejects the existence of Turkish forces in Iraq. 

There are ongoing diplomatic efforts to let the Turkish troops leave the Bashiqa camp, he added.
