Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir received former Tunisian president Mohamed Moncef Marzouki athis office in the Sudanese Cabinet, Maezouki is currently visiting Sudan to participate in the activities of the Global Tayeb Salih Award.
Marzouki said, in a press statement on Thursday, that Sudan has set a model for solving internal problems and crises, calling on all political forces in Sudan to join the national dialogue. 
He praised Sudan for the reception of refugees from a number of Arab countries, especially Syria, urging Arab states to open its borders for Syrian refugees
