THE Minister of State of Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah signed and HE Secretary of State for Defense of the United Kingdom Michael Fallon signed Sunday a Letter of Intent between both parties at the Ministry’s headquarters, aims to strengthening cooperation and mutual support in the military and technical fields.
The Directorate of Moral Guidance at the Ministry of Defense announced that the Letter of Intent also includes the Ministry’s sought to purchase 24 modern Typhoon aircraft with all their equipment.
Both Ministers discussed aspects of cooperation in the military field, especially in the field of combatting terrorism and violent extremism.The meeting also discussed the most important regional issues.
