UAE, Brazil discuss military and defence cooperation

Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, today received Brazilian Minister of Defence, Raul Jungmann, to discuss means of enhancing cooperation relations especially in the military and defence fields.
During the meeting, which was held in the presence of Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, the parties discussed means of developing bilateral relations between the UAE and Brazil.
The meeting also tackled a number of regional and international issues, current developments in the region, and a number of issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by senior officers and officials of the Ministry of Defence and the delegation accompanying the Brazilian Minister of Defence
