Gargash meets UNHCR envoy for Somali refugees

Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, met Mohamed Abdi Affey, UNHCR Special Envoy for the Somali refugee situation, here on Wednesday.
The UNHCR envoy commended UAE's role in supporting refugees and its commitment to backing Somalia's security and stability.
The meeting saw discussions on the Somali refugee situation, particularly in the neighbouring countries, as well as means to enhance co-operation between the UAE and the UNHCR.
