She added that Emirati women have a noble history of community contributions and giving that inclulde many stories of success and sacrifice, along with the current role in completing this great journey. She added that women are continuing their development and the noble role that they fulfil through their families, as they are mothers, wives and workers who sacrifice, and there is nothing more precious than the sacrifice of a martyr’s mother, who has proved her capacity for giving.
She stressed that the General Women’s Union has implemented many charity initiatives led by women, such as the Refection Initiative, the Giving Caravan, the Eid Money Gift Initiative, and many other initiatives that they executed with efficiency and ability.
She added that due to the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Emirati women have followed a clear path that was strengthened by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and their brothers, Their Highnesses the Rulers of the UAE.
Eng. She also spoke of the initiatives that they implemented during their journey, as well as the great support given by the wise leadership to women, their empowerment in all areas, and the efforts of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak to support women and provide them with the opportunity to reveal their creativity and continuous giving, while considering them an essential part of the community.
