Ghantoot to celebrate UAE National Day with day long festivities

An exhibition polo game, involving international stars, will be played pos Friday to mark the 46th National Day of the UAE, according to a press release issued on Thursday.

The Spirit of Union Polo Team will take on The Year of Giving Polo Team. Each of the teams will feature one professional player.

Argentinia's four goal player Matias Machado, will team up with Abdullah Bin Dasmal, Khaled Bin Drai and Rashid Al Bawardi in the

Spirit of Union Polo Team as fellow countryman, Felipe Llorente, who also plays of a four-goal handicap, joins forces with Fahad Al Qubaisi, Ahmad Bin Dasmal and Yousuf Bin Dasmal in The Year of Giving Polo Team.

The exhibition game will be held under the patronage of Shaikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club.

A number of guests, students and artists from Saudi Arabia will take part in the National Day celebrations.

Paintings dedicated from Martyrs from KSA to Martyrs of UAE will be on display while Saudi artist, Hela Al Mohesain, who paints with her feet due to her disability will be showcasing her extraordinary skills Sahar Al-Shamrani, who made history as the first Saudi woman to travel to the South Pole, will also attend the event.
