Menna and Salwa share screen in new series

Actress Menna Galal talks to Arab Today about her new Ramadan drama, Ekram Mayet (Honouring The Dead). Menna states that the drama series is a \"turning point in her career,\" as she plays a character she has not played before. Ekram Mayet co-stars Salwa Khattab, who plays Galal\'s mother. The latter recalls a scene where Salwa had to slap her. She said: \"Salwa and I were so lost in the scene that the slaps became really hard,\" laughing off the situation she added, \"I nearly lost an eye shooting the scene.\" Ekram Mayet has been written by Diaa Dandash and directed by Dr Khaled Bahgat. The series will be shown daily on Nile Drama Channel, Egyptian Satellite Channel and Egyptian Channel two.
