Singer Najwa Karam taking care of ill father

Arabstoday has learned that Lebanese singer Najwa Karam insisted on accompanying her father, Karam Karam, to a hospital in Beirut, where he is receiving chemotherapy to treat his cancer. The singer's father was transferred to Beirut from his home in Zahlé, Bekaa. Najwa supervised her father's first round of chemotherapy and has been anxious and downcast, awaiting any good news from the doctors. Meanwhile, the singer's relationship with music label Rotana remains disturbed as a result of issues that have accumulated over the years.
