Egyptian actress, Zubaida Tharwat is living a state of deep sorrow since the death of actor Ahmed Ramzy. Zubaida told Arabstoday: “Ahmed Ramzy was a marvellous actor. Respect, love and modesty were the most prominent points in his character. Believe me, I can never find enough words to express describe this great actor who was devoted to art and cinema for his whole life.” “I shared many films with Ramzy like “Ana, Zawagaty wa al Sekertera” (Me, My Wife and the Secretary), “al Ahdan Al Dafeaa” (Warm Hugs), and “Bent 17” (17 Year Old Girl). Working with Ramzy was very enjoyable - he was a very funny individual behind the scenes, but still was very serious as soon as we would begin shooting.” The Egyptian actress continued: “With Ramzy’s death, the Egyptian art has lost a valuable figure that can never be replaced. I wish God has mercy on him and that he reaches the highest point in Paradise.” Ramzy died Friday morning of a sudden cardiac stroke.
