Egypt targets to produce 2.1m ton of fish by 2018
Egypt's Agriculture Minister Salah Hilal

Egypt is set to produce 2.1 million tons of fish by 2018, Minister of Agriculture Salah Hilal said.
In press statements on Thursday, Hilal said that Egypt plans to export fish after meeting the needs of local market.
The ministry is keen on developing fisheries and creating job opportunities for youths through establishing new fish farms, he said.
