Government pays due regard to environmental issues

The Egyptian government is paying due regard to the environmental issues, Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab said on Tuesday.
This came during a meeting with members of the executive bureau of the African Ministerial Conference on Environment.
Mahlab called for coordination among African countries to set policies and take serious steps towards protecting the environment in Africa.
He also suggested establishing an agency to fund projects for generating electricity.
