Renaissance deal proves African nations can solve own problems

Sudanese Vice President Hasabo Abdel Rahman on Tuesday said the Declaration of Principles on the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, which was signed on Monday, proves that African nations can solve their own problems and reach understanding.
"It also proves African nations are capable of overcoming their crises," he said.
He said outside interventions have negative impact on most of African crises.
He said the Darfur crisis could be resolved by Africans "without any foreign meddling."
