British Prime Minister Theresa May said Thursday that allies of the United States must "step up" and play their role in global security, echoing a warning by US President Donald Trump.
"Sovereign countries cannot outsource their security and prosperity to America. And they should not undermine the alliances that keep us strong by failing to step up and play their part," May told a meeting of Republican lawmakers in Philadelphia.
