At least 41 people died and hundreds were injured after a strong earthquake struck off Aceh province on Indonesia's Sumatra island on Wednesday, a local official said.
"The latest data we have is that 41 people have died," Said Abdullah, the health office chief in Pidie Jaya, the region hit hardest by the 6.5-magnitude quake, told AFP.
