EU hails 'progress' on migrants, urges Turkey to improve conditions

The EU on Wednesday hailed "good progress" on halting the migrant flow under a deal with Turkey last month, but urged Ankara to improve conditions for migrants sent back there under the accord.
"Further efforts are required by Turkey to make sure that those who need international protection receive the kind of support they most require," the European Commission said in a report on the March 18 deal.
