EU President Donald Tusk on Friday condemned "Russia's aggression" in Ukraine after five soldiers were killed in the country's war-torn east.
"The death of five Ukrainian servicemen yesterday is just the latest proof of the tragic consequence of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine," Tusk said at a summit in Brussels with six ex-Soviet states including Ukraine.
