Friend of San Bernardino shooter charged with terror conspiracy

A longtime friend and former neighbor of San Bernardino shooter Syed Farook was charged Thursday with conspiring with him to commit crimes of terrorism in 2011 and 2012, a US attorney said.
Enrique Marquez, 24, was also charged with the unlawful purchase of two assault rifles used in the deadly shooting two weeks ago in California, US Attorney for the Central District of California, Eileen Decker, said in a statement.
