Hungary has finished placing barbed wire along 41 kilometres (25 miles) of its border with Croatia in a bid to stem a flow of migrants from that country, a defence ministry spokesman said on Saturday. "The fence was finished overnight Friday," Attila Kovacs told AFP. The remaining 330 kilometres (205 miles) of the border between Hungary and Croatia runs roughly along the Drava river, which is difficult to cross. |
