Man arrested in France for 'planning attack' on tourists

A 22-year-old man has been arrested in France over suspicions he was planning to attack American and Russian tourists, legal sources said Thursday.
The suspect had gone to the southwestern city of Carcassone "with a view to carrying out a violent act, in particular targeting Americans and Russians," a judicial source said.
A source close to the investigation said the suspect was arrested in possession of a knife and a small mallet.
