Niger, Chad leaders ask Burkina coup leaders to 'return to the barracks'

The presidents of Niger and Chad on Monday asked Burkina Faso coup soldiers to return to their barracks and hand over power to the interim government they toppled.
"They should lay down their arms and return to the barracks and let the transitional administration take over," Chadian President Idriss Deby Itno said at a joint press conference with Niger counterpart Mahamadou Issoufou.
